Tell Congress: Restrict Trump's use of nuclear weapons!

As President, Donald Trump has absolute authority to initiate nuclear war, with no check on his power. No individual should ever possess such destructive power, let alone one with such an impulsive and bombastic temperament.

In Congress, I’m cosponsoring the Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act, which would require the President to obtain a formal declaration of war from Congress before ordering a nuclear first strike. Doing so would lessen the danger of a nuclear war, and set us on the path to further reduce and eliminate international nuclear arsenals.
