This is why we can’t have nice things

I'm pretty sure the occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue wouldn't recognize a word of the Constitution outside of his attempts to undermine it.

You'd think it'd be pretty easy to follow rules that have been around for hundreds of years. But when congressional Republicans would rather enable rampant corruption instead of holding their dear leader accountable to the same rules as every other president — it's not surprising when he acts like those rules are optional.

That aside, allow me to jog your memory with a few of Donald Trump's unconstitutional acts:

Even in the face of Trump running roughshod over the Constitution as usual, congressional Republicans refuse to hold him accountable. Despite their cowardice, some Republicans are even trying to distance themselves from the narratives they've worked so hard to create — as if we'd magically forget the crap they've put us through these past two years.

Well, if the GOP is too afraid to grow a spine to fight for the Constitution, it's up to us to elect strong Democrats who will. We're a few weeks out from our end-of-quarter deadline. Can I count on you to donate to my reelection campaign so I can get back to Congress and protect the Constitution?
