We all win when we remove dark money from our politics
7 years ago, I made a promise to you not to take corporate PAC money. Not a single dollar, not one cent. People called me crazy, but now more Americans than ever are rejecting the excuses and cowardice fed to us by spineless politicians bought and paid for by PACs and Wall Street billionaires.
Dark money in politics means more money in the pockets of mega corporations and billionaires, while our kids go hungry, and we lose access to affordable housing and basic life-saving healthcare. I'm sick of the needs of the many taking a back seat to PACs that roll out the red carpet for politicians.
What can we do about it?
We all win when we remove dark money from our politics, and I'm in this fight to reverse the Citizens United decision, put limits on donations, and stop the flow of dark money into our elections.
