Trump’s teleprompter operator did what??

When Donald Trump gets in front of a microphone, almost nobody knows what he's going to say. When he's walking to the mic, I recoil, thinking about the harm he could do to people across the country, what he could say to alienate our allies around the world, and what he could say to stoke anger in our adversaries.

But guess what? Next year, if we take back the House, we can hold him accountable for every single thing he says. Can you chip $3 into my campaign so that next year, once we have our blue wave, I can help hold Trump and his Administration accountable?

So why am I talking about Trump giving speeches? Actually, it's not about the lie-spewing tirade he manufactured last week about election security; it's about something much more corrupt and much more sinister.

It just came out that one person, Trump's teleprompter operator, who knows exactly what Trump is going to say before he says it, was making money betting on what Trump would say. And he won more than $100,000 because of it.

That is corruption of the highest order.

Bets weren't just placed on big speeches like the State of the Union address; more bets were placed before other speeches, like a January speech at the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, and a speech during a Medal of Honor ceremony in March.

Trump is allowing his corruption to fester throughout his administration. It's abhorrent, and we need to hold everyone in this administration accountable for every act of corruption, illegality, and cruelty.
