It’s the cover-ups
Trump can't quit with the cover-ups. Let's take a quick spin through some headlines since November of last year, when Congress voted and passed legislation to compel the Department of Justice to fully release the Epstein files.

First, chaos at home with violent ICE raids and delusional musings about "taking" Greenland.

Meanwhile, the DOJ was ordered to release the files by no later than February 3, 2026. We all know Trump's name is plastered throughout.

Next, February 3 rolls around, and what happens? Trump tries to change the narrative by kidnapping the Venezuelan president, covering up the story that they didn't fully release the files (they still haven't released them).

Then, last month, Trump reopened the Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C. — a monument people have come to see from across the country and all over the world. I'm sure you're familiar with the story about the peeling paint and the National Guard arresting people trying to take pictures of the monument. This is the first time in history that a President of the United States has been outsmarted by a single-celled organism.

But why was Trump talking about the pool so much? He is losing the illegal war he started with Iran.
Trump is addicted to cover-ups because he's desperate to distract Americans from his actual policies that are bankrupting families across the country. We need Trump to quit it and leave the sleight of hand and illusions to actual magicians — NONE of this is the spectacle he thinks it is. People are struggling to pay bills, to put food on the table, to put gas in the tank, and to turn the temperature down on the A/C during heat waves this summer because Trump is busy covering up one mess with another.
Remember what we're fighting for over the next 4 months. Remember the chaos and the lack of accountability. And then remember that we can retake Congress and hold Trump and his Administration accountable for every illegal, heartless, feckless, and pissant action they've taken to hurt American families.
This election is everything. I'm running for reelection to be part of the Congress that stands up to Trump and brings his Administration officials before Congress to force them to answer to the American people. Can you chip in to help me get reelected and be part of the blue wave this November?
More soon,
Jim
