A year to forget

The only gift Trump deserves is to be permanently removed from office.

Between Trump "loving" inflation, making a mockery of our country with the international community, terrorizing the population with armed cowards, and his latest obsession with creating a billion-dollar slush fund for his fellow child predators and criminals — I think I speak for most of America when I say Trump's 80th birthday offers nothing worth celebrating.

I refuse to waste energy celebrating someone hell-bent on terrorizing the American people. I'd much rather use this as an opportunity to remind you we have the power to send him packing. He's a total embarrassment and needs to be removed from office pronto — my reelection campaign is committed to sending him packing and investing in our people and our future. He doesn't care that housing is getting further and further out of reach for Americans; he does not care about the weather or whether our children are safe and have at least three meals a day; he doesn't care that millions of us desperately need Medicare for All.

I'd say he's lost touch, but the truth is he's never had a clue. I'm tired of having a president who's either falling asleep in the Oval, drumming up greed-driven chaos as "policy," or up all night spewing hateful nonsense online — so where do we go from here?

We need to win and win big in November, so that we can combat his attempts at further undermining our voices at their inception. If we get this right, America, we have the power to give him a long-overdue retirement to one of his little golf courses.

That's a golf trip I can get behind.
