We’re not stupid, Donald.
I'd like to think I'm a pretty smart guy. I think most people think the same.
At the very least, I know I'm capable of telling up from down, right from left, etc. In fact, I think most people would be, rightfully, insulted if you implied otherwise.
But that's exactly what President Trump is doing when he lies to our faces and calls the affordability crisis in this country a "hoax."
In the last few weeks, Americans have gone to the polls in New Jersey, Virginia, and a whole host of other states with one clear message: this is not working.
Democrats have won up and down the ballot by tapping into the very real anger that working Americans have at the state of our economy. Unemployment is up, prices at the grocery store are sky-high, and paychecks don't go nearly as far as they used to. Chip in $20.26 to help Democrats build on this momentum and take back the House in 2026.
Voters have taken a look around and soundly rejected the disastrous Trump agenda. But instead of taking this opportunity to address the real concerns of Americans, the Trump administration has decided that it's not their economy and policies which are the problem — we are.
We're not stupid, Donald. The American people know damn well that this economy simply isn't working for anyone but the President's billionaire buddies. And we're sure as hell not going to take your word for it when you say it's all peachy-keen.
But that's the problem. The Trump administration and its Republican allies in Congress have made their careers on lying to our faces. It's time we send them packing at the ballot box once and for all. Our efforts to take back the House have already begun. Will you make a donation to my campaign today to power our grassroots movement?
Together, forward.
Jim
