One foot in front of the other, and a grocery cart alongside
For the 13th year, at 6:30 this morning I joined Monte Belmonte and so many anti-hunger activists at the start line. It's another year and another long march against hunger in Western Massachusetts. If you've been with us before, you know this isn't just tradition. It's commitment.
The March for the Food Bank fuels the critical work of The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Yes, it raises money, but it also strengthens the emergency food network, helps families stay healthy, and pushes us toward real, long-term solutions to the root causes of hunger. It's community at its best: stubborn, hopeful, determined.
If you're able, will you pitch in $13 today to support my 13th March for the Food Bank?
Over today, tomorrow, and 43 miles, we'll push on to Greenfield, one step at a time, guided by one shared belief: no one in Western Massachusetts should ever have to go to bed hungry. Not now. Not ever.

If you've supported this march before, thank you. If you can stand with us again, it would mean the world to me, to Monte, and to the families who rely on the Food Bank every single day.
We can beat this, together.
Jim
