Photos from this weekend:
I am heartened by the images coming out from the No Kings rallies across the country. From the roar of thousands in our biggest cities to the quiet courage of a single voice sparking a movement in a small town — Americans showed up, loud and unafraid, to say hell no to authoritarianism.
I was proud to be on the ground at two powerful protests right here in Massachusetts — one in Northampton, the other in Worcester — where thousands of us stood shoulder to shoulder to send a message: We will not let Donald Trump — or any wannabe dictator — rip away Medicaid, SNAP, or the safety nets our families rely on. We will not stand by while they try to drag this country backwards. We will not be silent. And we will not back down.
I know that this fight is just getting started — but after this weekend, I know there are countless people in the fight with us. This is the momentum we need if we're going to regain control of the House in 2026 and resist the devastating agenda of Project 2025.
Thank you to everyone who took the time this weekend to get out into their communities.
In solidarity,
Jim McGovern
