They’ll keep trying to hide. Jim won’t let them.

They did it.

For more than 20 hours straight — from 1 AM until nearly 9 PM — Jim led a fierce Democratic resistance in the Rules Committee, fighting to stop Republicans’ Big, Beautiful, Bloated, Barbaric Bill. He worked through over 500 amendments, exposing the cruelty and greed buried in the GOP’s 1,100-page manifesto. But in the end, they squeaked it through — by just one vote.

Right now, we’re working to expose just how sinister this piece of legislation is. It steals trillions from the most vulnerable, guts Medicaid, and slashes SNAP benefits that help 41 million Americans put food on the table. The average SNAP benefit is about $2 per person per meal, and Republicans are hellbent on taking that away — just so billionaires like Elon Musk can get another tax break.

This isn’t about “waste, fraud, and abuse.” It’s not about deficits. It’s about cruelty and greed — a punishment for being poor, a reward for being rich. Jim knows that, and he’s going to keep fighting every step of the way. But he can’t do it alone.

This piece of legislation and the incredibly narrow margin it passed with underscores how important it is that we reclaim the House in 2026. These votes matter, these seats matter, and the resources we pull together right now matter.
