The real problem, according to Republicans: Free school lunches 🙄
Republicans say they have found "widespread fraud"... in our school lunch system.
I wish I was joking. Take a look:
The GOP is absolutely obsessed with fighting imaginary problems. For a party that claims to champion small government, they sure are preoccupied with government-mandated book banning, legislating who can play on the youth soccer team, and now snatching lunches from innocent schoolchildren. Absolutely disgusting. We'll need a strong movement to defeat the GOP. Can you chip in right now to fuel the resistance?
The Republicans' claim? Some of these kids' parents can technically afford a school lunch. Evidently, little Johnny "gaming the system" to get fed at school is the big issue of the day — not a Supreme Court Justice and his wife taking thousands of dollars — give me a break!
I'm sick and tired of hearing from Republicans that we can't cut a single cent from the military budget and can't raise taxes on billionaire corporations but that we need to audit every school breakfast and lunch that we give to our children. Give me a break!
As a country, we simply cannot afford to keep fighting these imaginary problems manufactured by the GOP for political theater. We've got to stand up and fight back. And that starts with electing a Democratic majority. Will you join me in the resistance and chip in now?
It's not going to be easy. We'll need everyone to come together. But I know we can and will win this fight.
