Stop book bans. Defend democracy.

Republicans' latest descent into fascism has unleashed a chilling obsession – the banning of books!

From the school boards to the halls of Congress, Republicans are banning books that feature characters of color, LGBTQ+ folks, or anything else that does not fit into their narrow worldview.

It's no secret that books are a vital tool for education, empowering our society and ensuring a functioning democracy. These book bans are more than an affront to our students' First Amendment rights, they are an affront to our very democracy.

We need a Democratic House majority that will uplift our democracy, not tear it down. Will you donate to help secure that majority and make a difference?

Here's the kicker – the majority of these book bans are from complaints from just eleven people. Hundreds of thousands of students are losing access to books because of eleven people.

That's not democracy.
