Urgent: Republicans are coming after me!
I think I got under their skin.
Kevin McCarthy and his extremist allies are running attack ads on me because I told them their plans are awful.
But I'm not backing down or shutting up. I won't let their lies and distortions stand.
The truth is Congressional Republicans are holding our country hostage over the debt ceiling, taking food from hungry families, taking health care away from veterans, and defunding our schools just so their billionaire buddies can get out of paying taxes.
It's sickening, it's destructive, and it's just plain stupid.
