Sign the petition: Ban congressional stock trading for good

I'll get straight to the point. We need to ban congressional stock trading.

It's a conflict of interest for congressional members, who have inside knowledge of industries (and the power to enact policy), to buy and sell stocks.

And both sides are guilty.

A report found that 97 congressional members bought or sold stock that intersected with their congressional work.

This is a slap in the face to the voters who elected their representatives in good faith.

Our democracy belongs to all of us. We must not allow it to be further tainted by this corruption. We must loudly speak truth to power and demand better from our elected officials.
