34 million of our fellow Americans, including nearly 9 million children, go to bed hungry in this country every year.

Just a few months ago, we won a historic victory in the fight to end hunger in America. We secured the first White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health in 50 years and brought together experts, leaders, and people with lived experiences from around the country to create a plan for a healthier, hunger-free America. It's taken decades of work to get to this moment. Now, I need your help turning the goals of the conference into a reality.

I believe that the plan that came out of the White House Conference will lead to transformational change in the struggle to end hunger in America. But it's not going to happen on its own. It's going to take all of us working together to solve this problem. Right alongside me at the White House Conference was someone who has done more than nearly anyone I know to end hunger: radio host Monte Belmonte. We walk 43 miles together every November, from Springfield to Greenfield, to raise funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Last year, we raised half a million dollars which made sure over 100,000 people had food during the holidays.

So this year, we're marching again, and here's my ask: will you donate to help us end hunger?

34 million of our fellow Americans — including nearly 9 million children — go to bed hungry in this country every year. I think that is an outrage. So we're marching. It will be cold — it always is. My muscles will ache — because, let's face it, I'm out of shape. But this year's march will feel different. Because this year, we are on the edge of something big. I can feel it. From the national movement we've built to end hunger to the national attention this issue has been getting thanks to President Biden and the White House Conference, I have never been more hopeful and heartfelt in my belief that we can and will end hunger in our lifetime.

100% of your donation will go to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts to help ensure that food is a fundamental human right for every single person in this country.

Thank you for believing in this cause and standing with me in the struggle to end hunger.
