Final thoughts before Election Day
There's not much left to say about this election that hasn't already been said. Still, it bears repeating we can't afford to sit this election out. Too much is at stake.
Democracy is at stake.
We can't have any regrets because we don't get any do-overs.
Republicans have said they're going to come after Social Security and Medicare if they're elected. They've promised to attempt a national abortion ban. They've hinted at significant political retaliation for people who don't back their regressive agenda.
I deeply believe in our cause because we put people over politicians.
No matter what happens, I promise to be part of the team that protects Social Security and Medicare, fights to codify the right to abortion into law, and defends our democracy against the people trying to dismantle it.
If we can win this tomorrow, it will mean so much for our democracy. And you know what? I truly believe we can do this — time to close this election out.
Only one day to go. Make a plan to vote tomorrow.
