We must believe them

There's an old saying attributed to Maya Angelou that says when people tell you who they are, believe them. And that's exactly what we must do with our politicians.

Republicans have told us their plans and priorities. We must believe them.

Whether it's ignoring voters who live too far away, vowing to repeal the Affordable Care Act, stripping away reproductive rights, or coddling fascists and threatening our democracy, they're showing us who they are — we must believe them.
