What Jim’s opponent stands for
Every race is important this year. And right-wing Republicans are working to gain control everywhere, even here in Massachusetts.
We've already shared that Jim's opponent has already dumped $100,000 of his own money into this race and is willing to spend even more.
Here's the thing, Jim's opponent has more than just a few downright-ridiculous beliefs. On some, he's gone full-extremist:
→ More than a year after the repugnant attempted insurrection on January 6, 2021, Jim's opponent was still pushing the mind-boggling big lie that Donald Trump won the election.
→ If you want to see who he'd model his service after, turn to the people he looks up to. Earlier this year, Jim's opponent re-tweeted Marjorie Taylor-Greene, as she attended a white supremacist rally.
→ Jim’s opponent wouldn’t protect the right to an abortion and a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions and supports Geoff Diehl, one of the most anti-choice candidates for governor in Massachusetts history.
Let's say it clearly to ensure there's no misunderstanding: Jim and his opponent have very different ideas about how we can better serve the people of Western and Central Massachusetts.
Jim believes in a bold, progressive future because every American deserves a living wage, high-quality health care, nutritious food, and the ability to retire with dignity.
