The road to Republican control? It runs through Rhode Island.
Republicans are very, very close to taking back Congress. Part of that path winds just south of Massachusetts, in Rhode Island.
There, our progressive neighbors are working hard to elect a terrific candidate, Seth Magaziner, to Congress.
... but all polls show anyone could win – a horrible thought, given what we know will happen if Republicans are put back in charge.

At this point, with 25 days to go until Election Day, every close race boils down to this simple question: who will set our nation's policies?
Republicans have promised to lean hard into fully banning abortions across America. They also largely refuse to hold Donald Trump and his supporters accountable for their outrageous attempted coup on January 6, 2021.
Pair that with their usual climate change denial, failures to address gun violence, and so much more... the stakes for this Rhode Island election couldn't be any clearer.
Seth Magaziner will be a formidable ally in Congress. He'll be a voice for an economy that works for all of us, for progressive health care solutions, and for protecting human rights that Republicans gleefully attempt to rip away.
