Republicans consistently vote against our best interests

I was proud to help the House pass the Inflation Reduction Act on Friday. Now it's headed to President Biden's desk to be signed into law. This is a big deal and a huge win for the American people!

As predicted, Republicans in the House were dead set against it. 207 voted no. 207!

I'm tired of watching Republicans vote again and again against America's best interests. And I know you are too. That's why Democrats have been laser-focused on putting people over politics.

Right now, we have a slim advantage in Congress to keep them at bay. This November, we have the chance to build up our majority, and we've got to take it. Can you donate $3 to grow our progressive majority?

Republicans didn't want to talk about how the Inflation Reduction Act would help people. Instead, they pushed misinformation — the truth matters, whether the GOP thinks so or not.

So here's the truth: this week, 207 Republicans voted against lowering prescription drug prices, creating clean energy jobs, and tax reform.

And sure enough, they're back at it, complaining about inflation and rising costs, as if they didn't just vote against a solution.

Their hypocrisy and corruption genuinely know no bounds. They are deep in the pockets of Big Pharma and corporate polluters.

We must build up a strong progressive majority and kick these extremists to the curb — chip in now to strengthen our progressive majority.

Republicans have a tight grip on their power. They're not going to go down without a fight. But together, I know we can create an America that works for everyone.
