Extremist Republicans want to gut your social security

They're at it again.

Extremist Republicans Lindsey Graham and Rick Scott have said we need to gut social security further as a measure of "entitlement reform."

You've got to be kidding me with this.

The party that voted to cut taxes for corporations and the ultra-wealthy (blowing a 2 TRILLION dollar hole in the budget) wants to take social security away from seniors.

We've got to get them out. Can you chip in now to help grow our progressive majority?

Nearly nine out of ten seniors collect social security benefits each month. All of those folks paid into social security. It's their money. There's no "entitlement" involved.

Cutting benefits for seniors and other vulnerable populations is inhumane and disgusting enough without blaming folks for needing benefits in the first place.

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised.

Republicans don't care that most older Americans rely on social security for the majority of their income. They don't care that more than 80% of Americans support social security. Or that millions of seniors would be thrown into poverty if there are any changes to benefits.

All these Republicans care about is power.

Again and again, they show their disregard for the American people and what they'll do if they gain the majority.

We can and will fight back. Let's not allow Republicans to take power. They and their disgusting ideas are in the minority.

Together we can protect our democracy and drive away those who would betray the American people.
