We need to invest in the American people, not greedy corporations

You don't need me to tell you that prices are rising. All of us who buy groceries and gas can see that.

Too many Americans are struggling to make ends meet.

Unfortunately, greedy corporations are using inflation as a cover while they gouge consumers and make record profits. For example, the price of oil has dropped in the last few days but prices at the pump continue to rise.

It is just plain wrong for corporations to make historic profits while people across the country suffer.

The GOP's solutions? Tax breaks for the wealthy. Tax breaks for corporations. Corporate deregulation.

No way!

We can lower the cost of living through meaningful legislation that helps the average American, instead of corporate shareholders.

We've got to raise wages and support unions to combat inflation.

That's why this midterm election is so important. Democrats need to defend and expand our majority—donate today to keep Congress blue and help lower the cost of living.

I'm proud to have helped pass the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act as a cosponsor in the House, and I'm hopeful it will pass in the Senate. The more workers unionize, the higher wages will be.

Like President Biden said in his State of the Union address, we've got to build the economy from the bottom up and the middle out.

We've got to lower the costs of child care, health care, college, and housing. Democrats are fighting to lower the cost of living. Not give breaks to greedy corporations.

I'm fighting for the American people in Congress. Not corporations. That's why I don't take corporate PAC money. I rely on grassroots donors like you. Will you donate today?
