My urgent message to President Biden:
Our country has been a state of forever war for decades now.
We've destabilized regions, caused countless deaths, and fueled a generation of xenophobia.
All in the name of peace – which is absolutely absurd.
Yes, America has a duty to defend itself, but this isn't that. And that's why I'm calling on Joe Biden to do a total review of our overseas military commitments and to finally end this forever war.
Thousands upon thousands of American lives. Untold numbers of civilians, whose greatest misfortune was being in our way. And trillions of dollars spent on dealing death around the world, while people here at home are going hungry and struggling to keep a roof over their family's heads.
I'll put it simply: we need to bring our troops home, ending this forever war as much as possible, and refocusing our nation on goodwill.
And peace. Real peace.
Join me in calling on President Biden to use his power as Commander in Chief to review all military deployments around the world, bring our troops home safely and responsibly as quickly as possible, and finally bring the decades-long Forever War to an end.
