In September 2019, House Democrats passed a collection of bills to protect our nation's coastal waters from destructive offshore drilling, including a piece of legislation which protects the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge from oil drilling.

And yet, here we are facing off with Trump and his eagerness to sell this land off to the highest bidding polluter.

This place is important both for the environment and the ecosystem it houses, but also the Native Gwich'in people that live there call the Refuge's awe-inspiring coastal plain The Sacred Place Where Life Begins. Stand with them and sign the petition to protect this land.
