Rather than protecting American families, Trump is feathering the nest for his own family. Take Jared Kushner, Donald Trump's son-in-law, for instance.

National security professionals in the White House personnel office viewed Kushner as too much of a security risk to be given a "top-secret" security clearance. They expressed concerns about Kushner's personal conduct, business interests, and vulnerability to foreign influence.

But Trump overruled the experts and ordered a top-secret clearance for Kushner. The President knowingly provided highly classified intelligence to a suspected security risk.
