☠️ Dirty ☠️

The Trump budget is garbage – literally and figuratively.

A 31% cut to the Environmental Protection Agency will trash our environment, local economies, and public health.

The EPA was created in 1970 as a response to the hazardous path we were on. And since it was created, the health of our environment has improved. Dirty rivers have been cleaned up. Toxic smog has been reduced. Acid rain has decreased. But now, after all we've accomplished, the Trump administration wants to take us back in the other direction. Their budget would create a public health crisis unlike any in history. Here's where we're headed:

  • Reduced regulation of post-consumer water renders our oceans, lakes, rivers, and streams too polluted to swim in.
  • Our cities clouded with thick smog from dirty power plants – further hurting our environment and creating another public health crisis we can't afford.
  • Increased oil spills, liter, and disregard for our carbon footprint further bleaches coral reefs.

Concerns about our impact on the environment aren't abstract. They aren't "trendy." They are grounded in both science and history.

We've been at this since the 1960s – it's time for the Trump administration to get with the program.
