Dad's birthday

Let me be honest with you. Tuesday, November 20 is my dad's birthday. And I didn't get him a birthday present yet.

Every year, he marches 43 miles through Western Massachusetts to raise awareness about hunger in our community — and to raise funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.

He always talks about how much fun it is. So last year, I spent the day marching with him.

I couldn't believe the determination and energy he had. And I was so proud, because I know that at the end of the day, his determination comes from his passion for helping people.

So, I need your help.

On Tuesday, I'm marching with him on his birthday. Can you make a contribution to his Monte's March fundraising page as part of his birthday present? You can even leave a note that says "Happy Birthday!"

I know it would mean so much to him to have your support. More importantly, it would mean so much to those in our community who are struggling to put food on the table this holiday season.
