Sometimes I wonder if Donald Trump wakes up in the morning and asks, "What new way can I think of to bully people?"

He and the GOP are proposing a hateful policy that would define gender as fixed at birth.

That amounts to telling 1.4 million transgender Americans that they do not exist.

Targeting marginalized people is lower than low. And it's dangerous.

Transgender teens, who already suffer a high rate of suicide, are watching. Imagine how it must feel to be told by leaders of our nation, "You don't matter. You don't even exist."

We can and must do everything in our power to stand up for the rights of all people. We must seek full equality for transgender Americans.

Tell Trump: Don't erase transgender Americans.
