Decency is on the ballot
We have an obligation to stand up when our values are being challenged.
Right now, Washington is a place where trivial issues are debated passionately, and often, the important issues aren't discussed at all.
Irrelevant, partisan nonsense is at the forefront of the conversation while there are millions of Americans relying on us to fix policies and institutions that impact their daily lives.
Health care.
Immigration.
Economic security.
There's more than just candidates on the ballot in November – decency is at stake.
I'm in politics because we need to get things done.
Let's focus on that.
