Let's make some enemies at the NRA
Now is the time for Congress to pass gun safety legislation.
The evidence is conclusive. Background checks and restrictions on assault weapons save lives.
But, Republicans in Congress and the Trump administration do nothing. Or worse, they come up with dangerous ideas like arming teachers.
Come on! Seriously?!
We must take a stand for safety and pass sensible measures to address our national gun violence epidemic.
Who's against us? The NRA.
I'm not afraid to take them on, to ruffle feathers, to make a few enemies.
They're going to come after any Democrat that attempts to do the right thing. Let's be ready.
