Tell Congress: grow a spine. Stand up to the NRA. [petition]

Last week, House Republicans passed a bill that would allow concealed carry permit holders to take their guns across state lines – overriding local laws (and common sense).

It was a disgraceful sideshow, bought and paid for by the NRA.

Sign the petition: tell Congress to stand up to the NRA.

Did we talk to any safety experts? Nope. Did we make our country safer? Hardly.

At a time when we have so much to do to get our country back on track, Congress is gift-wrapping top NRA priorities.

Like I said: a disgraceful sideshow, at a time when we can least afford it.
