Unwavering

With the new vacancy in the Supreme Court, the risks surrounding abortion rights and reproductive care are no longer hypothetical.

We have heard the promises made by the GOP to undercut our rights, to stack the court with Conservative activists judges committed to turning back the clock even further.

We know the lengths they were willing to go to at the state level, and now they have their sights set further.

We know their arguments are hypocritical, that this is a tool for control, and that it won't stop abortion, but rather make them unsafe or unaccessible to young people and lower income communities.

But we can be ready to combat their attacks.

In this moment of uncertainty, I want to reaffirm my commitment to you, to reproductive freedom.

I assure you that in Congress, I will continue to use my voice and my vote to ensure that women have access to high-quality healthcare, including reproductive healthcare. As with any other form of health care, I believe that we should be working to expand access in our communities – not taking it away.

I am proud to have been endorsed by the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. I am eager to continue the work towards equity and access alongside them and other organizations empowering people to make their own health care choices.
